After a break of several years, The Jane Austen Festival moved from Historic Locust Grove in Louisville, Kentucky to Heritage Village Museum at Sharon Woods in Cincinnati, Ohio.
And what a beautiful venue it was. The village was the perfect background as period dressed women (and men) strolled the grounds. Workshops and talks were held in the various buildings. The shops of Merryton were gathered under the trees with various wares to sell. The gowns were fantastic but as always I found the the bonnets were the highlight of the event.
Despite much rain, re-enactors gathered at Old Fort Harrod State Park on Father's Day Weekend to participate in the Raid on Fort Harrod.
Photos from Saturday were taken of the battle although it was slightly delayed by rain.
On June 7th & 8th The Fort Boonesborough Foundation hosted a free event in the lower park for visitors and re-enactors alike.

We have come to realize several things. A resizable website is imperative in today's world when almost 80% of websites are viewed via phones. Changing over the thousand of pages and photos we have accrued since 2003 is a daunting task. Therefore beginning in 2021 new photos and articles will appear here. Older photos and articles will still be available archived on our older site. www.graphicenterprises.net
